Our company's Founder and Chairman of the Board, Tevfik Eraslan, has 26 years of experience in the sector. After serving as the President of the Turkish Capital Markets Association and as the General Manager of İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş., a leading institution in the sector, he founded Rota Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. in 2021. Mr. Eraslan currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Borsa İstanbul (Istanbul Stock Exchange).

Mr. Eraslan holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Istanbul University and a Master's degree in Capital Markets from Istanbul University's Institute of Social Sciences.

He has participated in training programs at Wharton Business School in "Pension Fund Management," Insead University and CFA Joint Program in "Global Fund Management," and Columbia University in "Executive Management."

Mr. Eraslan is married and has two children.

Uğur Ayaydın, born in Mardin in 1970, graduated from the Department of Economics at Istanbul University's Faculty of Economic Sciences. Since 1992, he has been a partner in İpekyol Giyim San. Paz. ve Tic. A.Ş., holding various positions in production, supply, and marketing.

Since 2010, Uğur Ayaydın has served as the General Manager of the Ayaydın & Miroglio Group, which merged with the Italian fabric giant Miroglio in 2008 and has become one of the leading companies in the Turkish ready-to-wear sector with its İpekyol, Machka, and Twist brands.

Married with two children, Uğur Ayaydın speaks English.

Evren Üçok is an active investor focused on financial services, consumer internet, enterprise technology, biotechnology, and carbon reduction. He is also an investor and senior advisor in approximately 20 specialist funds.

Evren is the Founding Partner and Chairman of the Board of Trendyol Group, Türkiye’s leading e-commerce platform. Trendyol is currently expanding globally and is the first decacorn company to emerge from Türkiye.

Evren is the Founding Partner of Peak Games, Türkiye’s first unicorn company, a seed investor in UiPath, Romania’s first decacorn which went public for $30 billion, and a seed investor in Propertyfinder, one of the leading companies in the MENA region.

He is also a Founding Partner of the Digital East Fund (DEF) franchise, established to address the VC financing gap in Eastern Europe and Türkiye. DEF1 is the best-performing institutional fund in the EMEA region (so far) with approximately 15x TVPI.

Previously, Evren worked as a senior partner at Oliver Wyman, where he advised 70 leading financial institutions on key strategic issues for approximately 14 years.

Evren graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with two degrees, in Finance and Mathematics (with high honors).

Murat Çetinkaya graduated from Boğaziçi University with a double major in Political Science and International Relations from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and also completed a double major in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He completed his doctoral studies at the Boğaziçi University Institute of Social Sciences. After holding senior positions in the banking sector, he served as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, and then in 2016, he was appointed as the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. Mr. Çetinkaya is among the regional and global opinion leaders on macroeconomics, monetary policy, and financial markets.

Özhan Olcay was born in Istanbul in 1965. He graduated from Cornell University's Department of Civil Engineering in 1988. Between 1987 and 1988, he worked as an assistant to a Mathematics and Turkish Language teacher at Cornell University. From 1989 to 1991, he worked as an International Business Development Manager at ATSI Inc. in Buffalo. Until 1993, he was responsible for the Kartal Hotel Project in Marmaris, Turkey. From 1993 to 1999, he held various positions within the Pekintaş Group, where he was appointed General Manager and Group CEO in 1999. Married with two children, Olcay speaks English and German.

Emrah Yücel began his career in the fields of treasury, investment funds, and portfolio management, continuing it at İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler between 2001 and 2014, where he held positions in the Treasury, Domestic Markets, and Portfolio Management departments. At İş Yatırım, he was instrumental in establishing and managing the Portfolio Management Department.

Joining İş Portföy in 2014, he served as Deputy General Manager responsible for all portfolio management activities, including venture capital funds, real estate funds, traditional funds, and portfolios, as well as Financial and Administrative Affairs.

At the beginning of 2022, he decided to continue his career at Rota Portföy, a young startup in the sector.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Association of Institutional Investment Managers, Emrah Yücel graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Mathematics and completed his master's degree in Business Administration at the University of West Georgia.

Defne Olcay was born in Istanbul in 1999. She graduated from Emory University in Atlanta in 2021 with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Strategy and Management Consulting, and a double major in Psychology. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked at İş Bankası (İş Yatırım). Since 2021, she has been working as a Business Development Manager at Pekintaş Group. Olcay is fluent in Turkish, English, and French.
